Alas another photomanip paint-over.

The body and background were stock, but his "special" outfit and hair were 100% drawn in by me. :D Dunno what my problem is, but I really love boys with that sorta gay punk rocker goth hooker look (dunno what style you call it ^^;)

Lucky for you...the paintover I did before this one I recorded my steps:

I use photoshop and a tablet. I do a photo manipulation with my chosen figure and background. I liquify the model so that I can make them my definition of pretty (shallow I know ^^;). Change coloring so that the figure and background match. Next, with a 30% opacity brush and 50% hardness, and the opacity and size set to pen pressure, i eye drop areas of color, and paint them in with small dabs (eyedrop is "i" and brush is "b" so I can alternate between them quickly). After I've worked over the skin, and made it smoother, I'll start adding my own details like my own hair and outfits and alterations from the photo that I don't like.

I try to be honest. I don't believe in ripping other peoples stuff and claiming it as 100% mine.

And I've always been open about my techniques and telling people how I did things if they ask (and sometimes I tell them even when they don't ask). :)
