Artist's Comments and comments are greatly appreciated. Simple story about a little boy who wakes up with an ear ache. I spent a lot of time on it.  Well at least a lot of time on the first half of it, the second half was more of a "Oh Crap and other profanities this needs to be finished in a few hours and I'm only halway done." I'll probably revise this later and nix the speed painting at the very end that doesn't really match the style of the rest of the animation. Anyway. I spent, I dunno, 60 hours? on this (even if there are still parts I need to go back and rework). Please leave a comment even if it's just an emoticon.  Pretty please. *puppy eyes* Constructive critisim is very much wanted cause I'm always looking for ways to improve. This took a lot of prompting from people to help me finish it because I kept getting sick of working on it. As a result, I do have a shortened (and I think more amusing) version of it which can be seen here: [link] This made this animatioin with Macromedia Flash MX 2004, Photoshop CS, and Corel Painter IX. Half the backgrounds are just "painted" clones of a photograph and half or so were just done by me. So yay! And yeah there is like nothing in that little boy's rooms, his parents really don't love hime. *tear* No, clothes or toys for you little billy! No the little boy's name is not Billy. Oh yeah, where the idea came from. This is actually based on a true story. My brother had an ear infection, my parents took him to a medical center and on of the nurses gave him a teddy bear. He played with that bear non-stop for like 2 years. And the character design was actually based off my brother when he was a little. As far as the doctor stuffing the bear in his mouth as a passifier... Well... The concept amused me greatly so it stays. Here's the credits again so you can uh, actually click the links. Daily DeviationGiven 2006-03-03I love the fact that ~danzr4ever used Painter to make the backgrounds in Ear Ache Solution alot more luscious than normal Flash backgrounds, and the breaks in to fix the soundtrack are hilarious. Alot of work has gone into this and it's paid off well. (Suggested by ~ShredHed and Featured by ^Age2003) Comments zip: makes me wanna eat a bear!! lol but it was great love the backgrounds alot!!

  BRILLIANT!! All your hard work shows! ^_____^I had a lot of ear infections when I was a kid too. They were so bad that I was temporally deaf. >__< It also amuses me that that boy is based off of Carl. XD -- ------------------ creativity is more powerful than skill itself. Well it could have been less than 60 hours, I'm a bad estimate of time. But I was working on it off and on for a Month. Well I didn't give the kid a name, but since he's based off my brother (his name is Carl) at the moment I've named the little boy Cooper. -- Love Death Note? Join #DeathNotefan! Fangirl with me baby: #Adam-Lambert-Fans Yep, I wanted to experiment with styles and I just got painter for Christmas so I decided that I'd see how things looked with painted backgrounds instead of backgrounds done in flash. I also threw in some camera techniques that our teacher mentioned trying in class.
Well I'll consider doing another one to make a series, but at the moment there would have to be a lot more interest (so I can be motivated, by the fact lots of people wish to see more). Because the only reason I finished this one now instead of 6 months down the road was the fact that I was making if for class and wanted to finish it on time.
